What would you do to save a child?Every day 21,000 children around the world die of preventable causes...21,000... Every day...New figures from UNICEF show that through the efforts of UNICEF, their supporters and other world health agencies, we have reduced that number from 22,000 a day to 21,000 a day. Read more about it here at UNICEF. In spite of that, it is still unbelievable that for lack of the basic immunizations, clean water and other easily provided needs that 21,000 children will die each day. That's 7,665,000 children a year who are dying and we are helping to help stop it!Project Edan supports UNICEF's programs to lower this number. It's a big job and sometimes it seems impossible, but consider this. So far that number has gone from 36,000 a day to 21,000. It doesn't happen overnight, but it does happen. Join with us to make a difference in the world.
